From Ellard to Buenos Aires

First day in Buenos Aires.

May 30th.

First day.  Arrived in the morning.  Flight was good and  uneventful.  Clearing the customs / immigration in Argentina was very easy.  Met our driver Luis – couldn’t have asked for someone friendlier.  If he spoke more English than we did Spanish – we would become friends forever.  The ride from the airport to the apartment was about 45 minutes – traffic resembled Atlanta.  Mateo, the agent who got the apartment for us,  met us at the corner of the street.  Apartment is better than in the photos.  I went out to get the local SIM cards (btw, iPhones are rarity here – none for sale – good business opportunity), then had a breakfast of champions (photo):

 

After, found a decent size supermarket called Disco.  Some preliminary shopping later, back in the apartment, where Louisa emptied 4 LARGE suitcases.  About to head out to have some food, probably on this street (photo).
