Remember When Big Tobacco Sold Asbestos as the “Greatest Health Protection”?
one’s brain, perhaps if as convoluted (read: f-ed up) as mine, must be drawing parallels with current food consumptions and long-term linkage to illnesses. People cannot turn a blind-eye on drinking sparkly liquids, full of processed sugar, or aspartame or any other sweet chemical poison and not see a linkage to illnesses. Or eating processed, antibiotic-ized, GMO-ed, uber-corn-fed, tortured by never seeing daylight animal products and, say potential, health issues. I might be totally wrong and all of the aforementioned is perfectly healthy and really important to eat to be strong (proteins) and full of energy (sugars). But if that’s the case, why immediately after diagnosing a serious illness (cancer, heart-related, diabetes, etc.), first thing doctors recommend is to limit (read: ‘remove completely’) those products from the diet. Instead more fruits and veggies. When body requires all the strength to fight cancer, doctor tells to remove the “ultimate” source of protein (someone must tell gorillas about eating meat in order to be strong). Is this a bit paradoxical or my brain needs more sugar?
