Lack of talent or pentatonic scale.

My 30 year affair with guitar hasn’t made me Ritchie Blackmore or Jimmy Page.  As a matter of a fact, my occasional forays with guitar can invoke a thought from a listener: “Not bad for the first time…”  One thing, that I picked up from Micah, is the pentatonic scale.  I can play that  decently.  This brilliant video conveys ubiquity of comprehension of the pentatonic scale by everyone:

On unrelated note, James Allen’s book “As A Man Thinketh” is a brilliant piece of work, based on which every decade or two gets another author writing something similar and getting a tribe of followers (such as Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” in modern time).  Allen’s book definitely worth a read.
