The Buckle.

About a month ago, Anna said: ‘papa, you know that the Thanksgiving’s coming soon, right?’.  ‘Yes’, I said.  She said: ‘can we go to Charleston again?’.  I couldn’t believe my ears and said: ‘absolutely!’

Last year we spent the week of Thanksgiving in Charleston.  We fell in love with Charleston.  It also was a transformational experience for me, given some of the decisions and changes taking place.

On one of the carriage rides in Charleston, the man said that Charleston has 90,000 people living there and 187 churches and that’s why they call it The Buckle of the Bible Belt.  It is also referred to as the Holy City.  I’ve shared with some of my friends that it was an amazing, spiritually-transforming and surrendering experience for me.  Other than the city is just beautiful: history, architecture, culture, churches, it also has something magical. Some kind of a holy je ne sais quoi, if I may.

So, really excited to return back.  Louisa said something awesome yesterday: ‘last year we were there to close a chapter, this year we’re going to open a new chapter.’

We are off to Charleston (with kids 🙂 )!

On an unrelated note, I’ve read somewhere on the Internet that some of the information on the Internet may be inaccurate.  I think that’s bunch of BS.

Louis C.K. is a talented comedian.  Every years he scraps all his materials and writes new ones.  Makes him even more talented.
