The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

4 a.m.

In my ideal world, the family, friends & business partners adhere to the heading.  With our family, I can boast about it.  4 of us (or as Andrei would correct me here, 5 with Kobe) is greater than we are individually.

With some of my close friends, I find that when we’re together, conversing, drinking, celebrating, supporting, playing, etc., we’re are greater than we are individually.  In my future, when the business grows, careful partnership(s) that may form will always hold true to this simple rule.  I believe that The Beatles (Lennon/McCartney) or Page/Plant, Jobs/Wozniak and many other tandems of success have epitomized this principle.

The trick is to be fortunate to find that half that’s greater than you.

Blackmore, despite his personality, had/s the creativity of Mozart and virtuosity of Paganini on a modern time guitar.
